All standard sensory corps use this squad corp technique tree. Alternate squad corps may use a variation of these techniques, though, Chakura Noukan remains with all sensory corps.
[Chakura Noukan] - “Chakra Perception”
Description: The heightened ability of a shinobi to sense chakra. Its potency and maximum range grows as the user's Chakra Control rises, and may become advanced enough that he or she may be able to single out the chakra signature of a single entity within range. A target may choose to mask their signature, making their exact location difficult to ascertain. However, the presence of a strong fighter in combat is unmistakable.
The user may only precisely identify targets up to a range determined by their Ninjutsu stat. Until that point, the tracking merely gives a general area. Activating Chakura Noukan to detect a target’s precise location requires the user to form the Confrontation seal.

[Tengai Houjin] - “Canopy Method Formation”
Description: Tengai Houjin is the base level sensing technique taught to all recruits, acting as a sort of gateway technique to the more advanced methods of perception. Requiring little chakra control to execute, the user emits their own chakra in the 15m radius around them, forming a translucent dome of chakra which acts as a barrier. Any intrusion into this field of chakra will automatically alert the user, allowing them to sense nearby objects or beings without needing to see them.
Paying 200 Chakra per round to maintain, this technique is especially effective when on the defensive, though, it has a particular drawback: the Submission seal must be maintained by the user throughout its duration.
Requirements: 1,000 Chakra Control
[Shingan] - “Mind’s Eye”
Description: Moving beyond the ability to sense ambient chakra across broad ranges, the user is able to intimately read the flow of a target’s chakra through analyzing their secondary circulatory system. This extends to both the user and those within half of their maximum Chakura Noukan range.
They are able to detect whether or not they or someone else are under a genjutsu, with this sense being automatically pinged by Chakra Flow upon being affected. This automatic pinging applies only to genjutsu they are able to identify. By proxy, this allows them to identify the source of where area-of-effect techniques are being cast from, such as other sensory techniques.
Requirements: 10,000 Chakra Control
[Kami’gakari] - “Oracular Divination”
At this masterful level of chakra control, the user has risen beyond the heights of an adept in chakra perception, and are now able to employ a powerful technique that discloses both the location, chakra level, and chakra flow of all opponents within range simply by touching their finger to the ground.
In order to evoke Kami’gakari, the user must have at least a full round of uninterrupted concentration while touching the ground. Any disruption of this concentration will dispel the technique before it begins.
