Lava Release (熔遁, Youton) is an advanced chakra nature which is composed of both the Fire Release and Earth Release base natures to create lava and related substances for a myriad of purposes.

In its base form, Lava Release techniques combine the advantages of its composite natures by forming from the ground and, in certain instances, can be streamed from round-to-round. In terms of destructive power, Lava Release techniques have the most potent capabilities to damage an opponent of all advanced natures.

Shakunetsudan (Searing Bursts) - 475 Kekkei Genkai

The user spits out globs of lava of varying sizes. Like with all lava, these globs can then harden shortly after impact, creating soft-rock formations that can entrap targets or create hasty obstacles in their path.

Shakugaryuugan (Scorching Steam Rock) - 900 Kekkei Genkai

The user can spit balls of lava formed into massive rocks that shoot toward the opponent. The maximum number of rocks that can be fired per round is equal to the Kekkei Genkai stat divided by 1,000.

Pan'nokawadan (Bread-crust Bomb) - 1,700 Kekkei Genkai

The user kneads chakra in the stomach, and spits from the mouth large, round rocks that are heavily-coarse in appearance. These rocks are extremely hot and packed with air pressure, making them explosive upon impact. Anything hit by these bombs are thrown back 10m from the point of impact.


Youkai (Melting Apparition) - 4,750 Kekkei Genkai

Molding chakra in their stomach, the user then spits out a broad sheet of lava that spreads out in a 10m cone to fall down on everything in front of the user for 20m.

Kakazan (Flower Fruit Mountain) - 9,750 Kekkei Genkai

The ground around the user rapidly heats up until a pool of lava outside the untouched 3m diameter around them is formed. This vast pool of lava then erupts, shooting outward and upward for 25m in all directions to completely cover everything within its reach.
